Over the past decade, Yvonne Mestre has sold thousands of prints to customers from every corner of the world. Her "Sunrise" was selected as the cover shot for the 2011 calender at the internationally-renowned Portland Japanese Garden and also appeared in the Home and Garden section of the Oregonian.
Her images appear in each episode of Disney’s XD’s hit television program Crash and Bernstein and were used in the IFC Channel’s Portlandia.
A 3D version of one of her images was used by the animation company Laika while another image was used in a special exhibit by the Cincinatti Zoo. Perhaps the most unusual use of her work is a needle point rendition of one of her images of the Portland Japanese Garden that was published by the American Needlepoint Guild.
When she can find a spare moment, it is usually spent enjoying the company of their German Shepherd, Sophie.
